Spanish Summer Camp for Kids - Ages 6 to 11
Mesoamerica Institute now offers Spanish Summer Camps for Kids! Spanish is taught through various activities such as singing, art, story telling, games, and dancing, all conducted in the Spanish language. Using our Natural Approach students are exposed to Latin American arts, culture, and history in Spanish; providing them an environment of immersion. Mesoamerica Institute is located inside the beautiful Strawberry Creek Park in Berkeley which allows for fun outdoor activities as well!
Spanish Summer Camp Schedule and Activites
For the summer of 2009 we will offer four Summer Camps, each with a duration of one week. Classes will run from 8:30AM to 1:30PM, including a 30 minute snack-time break in the middle.
*Parents, you can sign up with your child for more than one camp if you choose to.
Here's the schedule:
- Camp 1: June 22 through June 26
- Camp 2: June 29 through July 3
- Camp 3: July 6 to July 10
- Camp 4: July 13 to July 17
Activities include:
- Learning greetings
- Naming people, animals, and common things through art projects and games
- Painting a tree, storytelling, and singing
- Learning actions through theater
- Dancing lessons, and more!
